Q: WHAT AM I ALLOWED TO DO WITH PHOTOS I HAVE PURCHASED ON DISK?

A: When working with us, you receive the very finest of our offerings, on disk. Contained within as of Autumn 2011, are:


1. Watermarked Low Res files (for social networking sites like Facebook, MySpace)

2. Low res pre-shrunk files for web use... If you want, for a small fee, we will create a CUSTOM Farm Emblem Watermark, so your photos can be instantly recognized and not stolen for scams.

3. The full resolution high quality images, including Digital Art Prints, digitally signed my the artist/photog.

All Full Res image Work will also be uploaded here on the site, as we have the finest Print House available to provide you with the best quality ALWAYS lustre finished photo prints at a very reasonable price. We do not gouge our clients and friends. We treat them like family.

You are given USAGE rights to these images.

Mammano Photography grants a perpetual, non-exclusive, non-transferable, worldwide license to use this image for permitted limited commercial purposes, defined as:

• advertising, promotion, brochures, packaging

• as part of a commercial website for promotional purposes

• prints, posters, flyers, tear sheets for promotional purposes (NOT FOR RESALE)

• prints, or other commercial display of image (as in posters for the horses stall/Farm tables during shows)

• magazines, booklets, newspapers, other printed publications- This DOES NOT INCLUDE 1/2 to FULL Page Ads... Full Commercial Licence for these images MUST BE APPROVED.

• video, broadcast, theatrical

• ALL PRINTED MATERIALS and imagery used for intangible items (brochures, ads, website pages, etc.) MUST be labeled with an EASILY readable photo credit, ex. "Photos by: Mammano Photography: http://www.mammanophotography.com"

What you may NOT do:

Buyer may NOT resell, relicense, redistribute without express written permission from photographer. Buyer may not use as a derivative work, and reselling or redistributing such derivative work is prohibited.

Images may not be used in a pornographic, obscene, illegal, immoral, libelous or defamatory manner. Images may not be incorporated into trademarks, logos, or service marks, changed, altered or misrepresented in ANY way.

THIS INCLUDES CROPPING. If you NEED this service, WE WILL PROVIDE IT AT NO ADDITIONAL COST TO YOU. Email us... We are happy to help! Because, really, nothing is worse than an unbalanced photo, with our name on it. We strive for quality and will help you in every way we can.

Q: DON'T I OWN THE PHOTOS WHEN I BUY THEM?

A: No, Mammano Photography owns the copyright to our photos, which is established the moment we capture te image. This is NON-TRANSFERABLE.... Which means, when you Sell a horse, those photos and their usage rights DO NOT go with the animal. Usage Rights are only to be used by the person who has paid for the right to use the image. If the new owner wishes to utilize the images for any use other than that of a personal print for a frame at home, Mammano Photography MUST be made aware and negotiate (translation: discuss and educate) the usage rights for the new owner. All Usage rights are on a case by case basis, and we are not barbaric, by any means. We in truth wish to teach, assist and advocate our clientele and their respective farms.

Q: CAN I SEND A PHOTO FOR A MAGAZINE TO USE IN A FEATURE ARTICE?

A: Yes, but the publication MUST contact us to negotiate the editorial usage fee. They DO NOT have our permission to Print photos in any way unless they have.

Q: CAN I PURCHASE THE UNLIMITED RIGHTS TO A PHOTO?

A: Yes, it is possible, but on a case by case basis, subject to approval. The majority of our business comes from the marketing of imagery and as such, we must retain rights. Generally, unless it is a Shoot from a Horse Show, it is not common practice for us.

Q: HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE TO GET MY IMAGES?

A: For horse Shows, a general rule of thumb is 7-10 business days to upload all the UNEDITED PROOFS, after the last day of the show. For Events, you will be prompted to register and gain the password. After you have made your selections in your new "favorites album" (only available for Horse Show events currently) We edit them within a few business days and they are ready for printing and or Downloading. This is all dependent upon how many orders we are going through, but rest assured, we value quality and efficient workflow. You will have images in a very reasonable amount of time.

For Farm Shoots, it can be anywhere from 1-2 weeks for a single farm to 6-8 weeks for a tour. Please be patient, as we are treating each image as though it is a work of art, as it should be.

Q: WHEN CAN I EXPECT TO RECEIVE MY PRINT ORDER, AFTER PAYMENT HAS BEEN MADE?

A: We contrat the services of one of the finest Print Houses available in the USA. The turnaround time so far has been an average of 3 days, sometimes two. During Holiday season, it can be up to 5 or more, but we have NEVER seen that. It's normally 3.

Q: DO YOU OFFER PHOTO-MANIPULATION SERVICES?

A: Yes, we do, on a case by case basis, usually hourly and we bill accordingly. Proofs will be available for all Graphic design work and we use PayPal for invoicing. Easy!

Q: DO YOU DO ADS?

A: Absolutely. We strive to meet and exceed the needs of your business and do so with style, grace and speed.
